Developing leaders of the future

At Green Oaks, we believe every child should have opportunities to develop their confidence, take responsibility and make a positive contribution to our school community.

Throughout the Academy, pupils can take on a variety of leadership roles, including Play Leaders and other pupil leadership responsibilities. These opportunities allow children to develop important skills such as communication, teamwork, organisation, decision-making and supporting others.

Pupil leadership strongly reflects our school values. Children Work Hard to fulfil their roles, Be Kind by supporting and encouraging others, and Be Responsible by taking their commitments seriously and setting a positive example.

During this academic year, we are further developing our approach to pupil leadership, creating a wider range of meaningful opportunities for children across the school to have a voice, take the lead and make a difference.

Our aim is for pupils to leave Green Oaks as confident, responsible young people who understand that their voice and actions can have a positive impact on others.
